About Alethia
Hi, I’m Alethia (pronounced ah-lee-th-ah). I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist providing adult-focused services virtually and in Grey-Bruce & surrounding areas. I work with adults who are experiencing changes in communication, thinking skills, voice, or swallowing related to medical or neurological conditions.
I have experience working in adult medical settings and supporting individuals after stroke, brain injury, concussion, head and neck cancer and other neurological conditions, as well as those noticing memory changes, voice concerns, or swallowing difficulties. My focus is always on practical, functional goals—helping people stay independent, safe, and confident in their daily lives.
I believe therapy should be personalized, respectful, and grounded in real-life needs. I tailor sessions to each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals, and I adjust pacing and session length based on endurance and medical complexity. I also value working closely with caregivers and other healthcare providers to make sure care is coordinated and meaningful.
Services are offered virtually across Ontario, with in-home visits available on a case-by-case basis depending on client needs and location.
